The Amazon Career Choice program offers an educational benefit that empowers eligible Amazon employees to learn new skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. This benefit can be applied to any undergraduate program. The highlighted programs below are popular with many Amazon employees:

How to Start

1. Apply for admission
2. Complete your application

Complete your application and send requested documents.

3. Register for classes

After you have been admitted to Charlotte, then register for classes.

4. Request payment from Amazon Career Choice

Visit A to Z and submit a payment request for UNC Charlotte. When you complete your class request in the Amazon Career Choice portal, it is important that you enter a valid UNC Charlotte Student ID to ensure that we can link your request to your student account. Without a Student ID, your request may be denied by the Bursar’s Office.

The request will be sent to UNC Charlotte to confirm course level details.

5. Speak with an advisor

Speak with an Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) advisor to plan your educational track if you’ve opted for an academic credit program.

Amazon’s Career Choice program, launched in 2012, offers an annual tuition benefit for eligible employees that can be redeemed at UNC Charlotte for any undergraduate program. The educators in the Amazon Career Choice partner network deliver on Amazon’s commitment to provide hourly employees with best-in-class support in their path to career success at Amazon or elsewhere. Together, we are committed to providing excellent education, job placement resources, and continuous improvements to the student experience.
