Getting Started at UNC Charlotte
Join our virtual drop-in sessions on Mondays from 3-4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to inquire about the Graduate Certificate in Teaching and receive application support.
Get your unofficial transcript reviewed before you apply! If you are interested in having your transcripts reviewed to determine whether you should apply, contact:

Application Deadline Dates
- Fall Admission: August 9
- Spring Admission: December 1
- Summer I Admission: May 15
- Summer II Admission: June 15
Applying for the Residency
- The Next Stop: Teach UCPS Application will be open from February 1 – May 1, 2025 on the Next Stop: Teach UCPS website.
- The Human Resources Team will review applications to determine eligibility for a specific pathway.
- Interviews will be conducted during May 2025.
- Candidates will be notified of acceptance during June 2025.
