Every Niner Gets Free Access to Coursera Career Academy This Fall
UNC Charlotte is partnering with Coursera, one of the world’s leading online learning platforms, to provide every student, faculty, and staff member free access to Coursera Career Academy.
Career Academy expands opportunities for Niners by offering flexible, short-form credentials that build on the foundation of UNC Charlotte’s degree programs. These certificates are designed to enhance academic learning with applied, industry-specific skills that support career development.
With Career Academy, Niners can pursue industry-recognized certificates from organizations such as Google, IBM, Meta, Intuit, and Salesforce in areas including data analytics, UX design, IT support, cybersecurity, digital marketing, project management, and more. These are self-paced, hands-on programs that require no prior experience—making them an accessible way to complement classroom learning with workplace applications.
