Justin was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati. Justin had worked in video production, broadcasting and Audiovisual event production before starting as an Event Support Technician at the Dubois Center in 2017. He is currently the Classroom Support Supervisor at The Dubois Center.

Scott Strilka works for the Audio/visual department for UNCC and has been a part of the team since 2011. He is the AV Integration Construction manager for our the AISLE group's AV Integration Team. This team designs, develops and installs all aspects of audio, video for classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, offices, and common spaces throughout the University's campus. Strilka has been a licensed electrician in N.C. since 2001 and holds the CTS-I certification for AV installations. He grew up in upstate NY, the home of tomato pie, chicken riggies, and half-moons. Strilka moved to Charlotte in 1997 and now lives in Concord with his wife, two kids, and Yorkie. They enjoy movies, Anime, all types of games, from cards to tabletop to video games and hanging out with friends, and annual glamping trips to Myrtle Beach travel park.

Ryan was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He started at UNC Charlotte in 2015 as a Technology Support Technician with a concentration on audio video installation. With over 25 years of electrical installation, Ryan continues to contibute to the growth of the University by installing and support AV systems within all campus learning spaces.

Chris Walton joined the Learning Space Technology Team in April 2023 as AV Systems Engineer. Prior to joining SPS, Chris worked as an IT Business Systems Analyst at App State’s New River Light & Power. He brings a diverse background working with networking, server administration, desktop support, and AV control system programming. Outside of work, Chris enjoys the beach, escape rooms, and spending time with his family.

Devin Brown joined the Learning Space Technology Team in April 2023 as Inventory Control Specialist. Prior to joining SPS, Devin served as the Bulk Mail Coordinator with UNC Charlotte’s Mail Services Department. He is a graduate of the SPS Procurement & Supply Chain Management certificate program and received his bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sport Management from Coastal Carolina. He is also Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified and volunteers his free time as a middle and high school basketball coach.

Griffin Angus joined the Learning Space Technology Team in August 2023 as an AV Integration Technician. Prior to joining SPS, Griffin worked as a special event technician while attending UNCC before graduating, and most recently worked as a residential audio/video technician, working in high-end homes around Charlotte. Outside of work, Griffin enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, cooking, games of all kinds, and watching soccer, especially Liverpool FC.

Vicki Plott joined UNC Charlotte in 2006 and serves as the Director of Business, Finance, and Personnel for the School of Professional Studies. In this role, Vicki leads the business operations team that supports all the financial/budget and resource utilization, and human resources management including salary administration, payroll processing, position budgeting, and management, employee relations, strategic planning, operations planning, business processes, systems implementation, contract management, and policy for 13 teams across the School of Professional Studies.

Heidi Hodges graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Mars Hill College. She joined UNC Charlotte in June 2006 as a Program Coordinator. She currently serves as the Payroll Specialist for the School of Professional Studies, handling instructor payments, student worker hiring and summer school payroll.

Katherine graduated from North Carolina A&T with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. She joined UNC Charlotte in 2015 in the role of Classroom Coordinator. Katherine currently serves as the Systems Implementation Manager for the School of Professional Studies and brings over 15 year of project management experience to our team. She works with the Business Operations team to improve and automate processes within the School of Professional Studies.

Katie Addison graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Auburn University. She started her higher education career at the University of Louisville in the School of Medicine. In 2018, she moved to Charlotte and started as the Program Coordinator in Corporate and Custom Training. In 2019, she moved into her current role as Business Services Coordinator for the School of Professional Studies. Her role includes project management in the AISLE group, and various budget and financial duties for the School of Professional Studies at large.
