Melody joined UNC Charlotte in September 2019 as the Department Coordinator for the BISOM department and Turner School of Accountancy within the Belk College of Business. In 2022 she joined the School of Professional Studies as Executive Assistant to the Associate Provost.
Prior to UNC Charlotte, she worked as the Registrar at Cox Mill High School in Cabarrus County for 4 years and served in other administrative roles within the Cabarrus County school system since 2008. She earned a B.S. in Human Environmental Science in teaching and business from UNC Greensboro.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, biking, and spending time with her family, along with serving within her community and church.
