Louise joined the School of Professional Studies in 2019 after serving many years as the online-learning advisor and lab facilitator at a large public high school in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School district. She was named the 2018-2019 e-Learning Advisor of the Year by North Carolina Virtual Public School, a division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, for her dedication to online-student achievement and successful partnerships with online instructors and stakeholders. She earned her A.S. in Business Administration, and In 2020, she completed the Leadership in the Public Sector Undergraduate Certificate from North Carolina State University. Louise is a transplant from the capital district area of New York, and is grateful for the Carolina blue skies that she never knew existed before moving here over 20 years ago. During quiet times, she enjoys getting lost in a suspenseful spy-thriller, a challenging jigsaw or a Sunday NY Times crossword.
