Karri Kennedy
Karri is a people and process leader, driving collaboration and innovation across diverse educational programs and teams. She has been with UNC Charlotte for over 20 years, beginning her career in 2002 as a career advisor and marketing director with the University Career Center before joining what is now the School of Professional Studies. Now serving as the Senior Director for Program Management and Learner Engagement, Karri oversees the integration of enrollment management and student services, marketing and communications, and program management for all SPS programs, fostering synergy between these teams and operations.
Karri holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration from Ball State University, along with doctoral coursework in Curriculum and Teaching from UNC Greensboro. She is a Certified Practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory, holds a certificate in Applying the QM Rubric (5th Ed.) and is a graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning.
