Jeffrey Jones
In his role in the university, Jeff establishes strong connections between the School of Professional Studies education offerings and the workforce needs of the Charlotte region. He is responsible for strategic initiatives such as workforce intelligence and analysis, Talent Pathway initiatives with regional employers, and the creation of Campus Partnership programs. Jeff works with community and corporate partners to develop accessible, relevant educational pathways for all learners that better serve their evolving needs.
Jeff has over 30 years of experience working or consulting in higher education, healthcare, financial services, banking, insurance, technology, and defense. He has expertise in organizational consulting, leadership development, and leader and team coaching. Jeff is currently working on an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies at UNC Charlotte after recently completing a Graduate Certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. His past academic achievements include an MS in Applied Behavioral Science at Johns Hopkins University, an MS in Computer Science at Bowling Green University, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science at Baldwin-Wallace College. In addition, he completed an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown University and holds a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation.
