Teams are often made up of individuals with different experiences, backgrounds, and areas of expertise - and it would be a shame not to leverage that. Teamwork enables collaborative problem-solving that can lead to more innovative solutions. It's easy to call out the qualities that make someone a poor team member. But what makes a person invaluable on a team?
This course will highlight the key characteristics of exemplary team members and by making subtle changes, participants can adopt these behaviors to become a more valuable collaborator. Participants will explore tips that can help them increase their self-awareness, demonstrate that they're a reliable teammate, and approach teamwork more collaboratively.
What participants will learn:
- Address the value of collaboration to organizations
- Outline the conditions that must exist for teams to work collaboratively
- Examine tactics to encourage high-trust relationships with colleagues
