Branding our Online Programs

We have exciting news! In a strategic focus on the Charlotte brand and to support the growth of our online programs and learning initiatives, the School of Professional Studies is proud to unveil Charlotte Online as the new consumer-facing brand and website for all online offerings at UNC Charlotte. This site encompasses both academic credit and professional (noncredit) opportunities within the School of Professional Studies portfolio. 

This transition mirrors the branding strategies adopted by leading universities worldwide, emphasizing our institution’s commitment to fostering connectivity, accessibility and community in the realm of online education. By prioritizing user experience and the Charlotte name, we anticipate that this shift will resonate strongly with prospective and current students seeking online programs at UNC Charlotte, while also enhancing visibility for our academic college partners.

We acknowledge new terminology and brands can be confusing, so we invite you to see the table below for more details.
