Building Bridges Scholarship

Inclusivity and equal representation for all matter deeply to us. That’s why the School of Professional Studies created the Building Bridges Scholarship.

Awarded to those who

• demonstrate outstanding leadership
• while actively building bridges across diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

The Building Bridge Scholarship enables passionate, dedicated individuals to further their education, enhance their leadership skills and contribute to positive change in their communities.

Anne Spychala Scholarship

An ideal candidate for The Anne Spychala Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Women in Continuing Education is someone who:

• Demonstrates determination and the ability to balance family and work obligations.
• Promotes gender equality.
• Will be an ambassador for UNC Charlotte School of Professional Studies and the career opportunities it creates.

A special consideration will be made to those supporting their families and whose education will improve their lives and set an example that it is never too late to learn.

Laura J. Campbell Scholarship

An ideal scholarship candidate for the Laura J. Campbell Scholarship is someone who:

• Demonstrates that they have the ability to successfully complete the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate program.
• Can describe their strengths and how they will use those strengths to make a positive impact on the community.
• Can state their educational and personal goals for the future and how the certificate will support those anticipated goals.
• Can describe their financial need and how the scholarship will make a significant impact.
