School of Professional Studies Announces New Program Director
As the new Program Director in UNC Charlotte’s School of Professional Studies, Krystle Hammac is responsible for providing direction for some of SPS’s most popular professional development certificate programs in hospitality, social impact, public administration, and media. She says herself that “no matter the age, education is critically important” which best captures her interest in higher education.
Before her promotion to program director, Krystle served as a student services specialist for Niner Central and an enrollment specialist for Continuing Education where she improved efficiency in registration and enrollment for certificate and professional development programs. UNC Charlotte recognized her in July 2021 with a Golden Nugget award for going “above and beyond to make others feel like they belong, they are seen, and they are loved.”
She most recently earned her master’s degree in public administration from UNC Charlotte in May 2021 and completed her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
Besides being passionate about helping students pursue their dreams through education, Krystle takes much interest in supporting non-profit organizations that promote animal welfare.
